I mention a lot of books on this site, The Omnivore’s Dilemma, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle
, Slow Food Nation
, and a myriad of cookbooks. Ever have an interest in knowing what I’m reading before I start referencing it like mad in my posts? Now you can just check out the side bar on the right and see!
I read a lot and am often reading more than one book at a time. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to post multiple books when I’m reading several at once. I have decided to only post books that relate to this website. You guys don’t really need to know when I finish My Sister’s Keeper or Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates
. I’ll try my best to keep it updated. With any luck you may see a book that you’d like to check out too.
Oh, and if you have any books to suggest I’d love to hear about it. I got quite a few emails after I wrote about Vegetarian Epicure Book Two and I loved them all.

Ooh, I’m curious to know what you think of the end of “My Sister’s Keeper.”
I just read “North & South” by Elizabeth Gaskell and enjoyed it a lot. The “Tomorrow when the war began” series is way excellent, and if you’re up for something lighter, anything by Christopher Moore.

I think I cried for an hour straight when I finished “My Sister’s Keeper”. Nick thought maybe my mom had died or something when he came home and found me so upset. But I do think it’s a great ending.
The whole time you read the book you keep waiting to find out the court decision and how it will effect the sister, and the suddenly everything is turned around on you!
It made me both hopeful and terribly depressed at the same time. And I’m certainly up for reading something lighter at this point.

Since we’re talking about books, I’ll throw in my two cents. This is NOT light, but you should read “The Name of the Rose” by Umberto Eco, if only it because it will rock your socks off. Seriously. Socks. Rocked.

Anytime you want to talk about Tom Robbins, I’m ready.
